SFFMC Benefit Concert for Camp New Harmony
Saturday, April 7, 7 pm
Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists, 1606 Bonita Ave, Berkeley
San Francisco Folk Music Club presents a concert of stellar performers, including:
Doug Olsen, from Oak, Ash and Thorn
Amelia Hogan & Margaret Miles
Tickets are available at the door, $20 suggested tax deductible donation.
To help get the word out, invite your friends and share this info!
Delicious food will be available for donation, catered by Scott Rowe.
This concert is a benefit for SFFMC's Camp Harmony campership fund, which provides funds for folkies on limited incomes to attend.
Camp Harmony lost its home at Camp Newman last year due to the Santa Rosa fires,
and it is anticipated that whatever new location we find will charge substantially more.
Pete Seeger Singalong with the San Francisco Folk Music Club
Sunday May 6, 1-2 pm, Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse
The Freight & Salvage is hosting a series of monthly sing-along programs this year to celebrate its 50th anniversary,
and has invited SFFMC to present a program of favorites sung by Pete Seeger on the afternoon of Sunday, May 6th.
A small ensemble of club members will lead this sing-along of familiar favorites.
Song sheets will be provided, so bring along friends to introduce them to our community.
This program is free for the pubic to attend (reserving seats in advance is advised) and the Freight will pay
our club a nice sum that will go directly to support Camp Harmony.
Come out to share the joy and power of Seegerís legacy with many other voices raising the roof in song.
